At Pretoria Piano Studio, I offer inspiring, individualised piano tuition for children, teenagers, and adults of all ages and abilities. Whether you are taking your very first lesson, returning to the piano after many years, preparing for ABRSM or Trinity examinations, or working towards conservatoire auditions, lessons are tailored to your individual goals and musical interests.

My teaching combines the highest professional standards with a warm, encouraging approach that develops confident, expressive and independent musicians. Alongside strong technical foundations, I aim to nurture curiosity, creativity and a lifelong enjoyment of music.

  • Alongside an active international performance career, I have over twelve years of teaching experience working with students from complete beginners to advanced pianists.

    I am an awardee of the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM) with Distinction and hold two Master's degrees in Music. My teaching experience spans private tuition, higher education, and international masterclasses. I hold a current DBS Certificate and maintain best practice for safeguarding.

    Previous appointments include teaching at the Escuela Superior Musical Arts (Madrid) and tutoring musicology and analysis through The Women's College at the University of Sydney. In 2025, I was selected as a Benedetti Foundation Ambassador (UK), reflecting my commitment to exceptional music education and continued professional development.

    I believe excellent teaching is about far more than technical expertise. Every student learns differently, and lessons are carefully adapted to each individual's pace, interests and aspirations. My aim is to help students become thoughtful, confident musicians who understand not only how to play, but why music works.
